Patgific — “Wo die Seele in einer Bergoase Heimat findet”
(Where the soul finds home in a mountain oasis)

This school project focused on the complete interior renovation of an apartment in a traditional Swiss chalet. Over three months, we reimagined the space through furniture layout, material choices, and functional zoning, while preserving its Alpine charm.

Our concept began with one word: patgific. It captures the longing for a mountain oasis — a place to slow down, savor good food, listen to nature, and simply be. Rooted in Graubünden’s way of life, it’s about presence rather than perfection.

We translated this mindset into a calm, tactile interior defined by rounded forms, earthy tones, and natural materials like wood, stone, wool, and linen. The result is a serene space that invites stillness, ease, and authenticity.
